The Open Access Chronophere is built upon Peter Suber's Timeline of the Open Access Movement and benefits from the MIT SIMILE | Timeline project wiring. I have to thank Peter Suber for the historic pinpointing of the open access movement and David François Huynh for the wonderful tool.

On short there are 376 events that have been marked. Some of them have been rewired to their destination as I check them against their URLs. I mention that all of them have been checked for available links and all the events had to bear a title. I hope that I put the right title and I submit to your attention this instrument for proofing.

I only hope that I'll have the time to maintain the xml file (holder of the events) up to date and I would like to ask you to contribute to the event stream.

The access to Open Access Chronosphere is marked by a button in the upper button area near the search box.

If there's anyone interested in the files just drop an email and I'll send them as long is in the interest of maintaining the events file up to date.

Enjoy !
